Inbound voice not working

People can hear me over voice, I cannot hear them. Every other sound works fine, as do other voip programs such as skype and ventrilo.  Every few minutes, I'll hear a little less than a second of voice kicking in.  This only started a few weeks ago.

Things I have done to try to fix it:

-Turned voice off/on. - This fixes it for approx. 5 seconds, I'll hear someone talk, then they will get cut off.

-Everything with network from DMZ to bypassing the router. - Did nothing.

-Used 4 different viewers. - No difference.

-Reinstalled viewers. - No difference.

 

The only thing I've done to get it working, which since has stopped fixing it now, has been to TP to the Orientation Island or Welcome Area, where it would work, and then TP back to whatever location I was in.  But like I said, this temp fix has stopped working for me too.

Here's an often overlooked one- have you checked the volume settings in Windows (for SL specifically), and in the device settings in the viewer?
