bad performance with AMD Radeon HD 6630M

who has experience with AMD Radeon HD 6630M?

I can only use Second life on a very low resolution otherwise lag is too much due to a bad client frame rate. I have the same experience with the newest versions of different viewers: SL, Phoenix, Firestorm.

I'm not sure whether this is because of my grafic card or second life, but I thought my grafic card is a quite good one.

I'm really unhappy, because being in SL is no more fun with this performance.

Who can help?

i understand you, i have the same problem ever since i changed to an ATI HD 6850. It kind of hiccups all the time and it's really annoying. I tried different viewers but it's all the same. Even on the lowest setting it does that.

I've not been a big fan of any ATI product in and of itself however, they do have a great driver.  As such, I have found that the ATI cards built by Asus, especially the CrossFire cards are amazing.  I have amazing performance and crystal clear graphics in the highest settings with nearly no lag from graphics.

That's the weird thing, all my games run perfectly except for SL. I'll try a driver rollback to see if it does anything.
