This premier event, held across the picturesque regions of Samphire Creek, Erik, Hrosskell, and Leif in North Nautilus, promises an unforgettable experience for sailing enthusiasts, maritime aficionados, and curious explorers alike.

The Festival Of The Oceans is Second Life’s largest annual boat show and an integral part of the Summer SAILstice celebration. Now in its second year at Lili’s Yard in Samphire Creek, Erik, and Hrosskell regions, the event has expanded into the Leif region, reflecting its growing popularity and the increasing interest in virtual nautical activities. This year, we are thrilled to bring you an array of new and exciting features that are sure to captivate and inspire.

 

Event Highlights:

• New Product Launches: Be among the first to witness groundbreaking innovations from N+K Ships. Discover the latest in virtual sailing technology and design, showcasing advancements that will shape the future of virtual maritime experiences.
• Live Search-and-Rescue Exercise: Watch in awe as the Second Life Coast Guard (SLCG) demonstrates their exceptional skills in a thrilling live search-and-rescue exercise. This showcase highlights the SLCG’s commitment to safety and their crucial role in the virtual boating community.
• Windjammer Race: Cheer on the majestic tall ships as they compete in a spectacular windjammer race. Feel the excitement as these impressive vessels navigate through the waters, demonstrating both speed and elegance.
• Aeropunk Sky Pirates Coalition: Enjoy adrenaline-pumping aerial displays and races presented by the Aeropunk Sky Pirates Coalition. Experience the thrill of fantasy aircraft and original designs that harken back to the 1930s and 40s.

• 11 AM - 12 PM SLT: SL Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demonstration

Sunday, June 23rd:

• Time TBA: Arrival of the Tall Ships Windjammer Race
