Everytime I try and log in, it's saying " Can not connect to simulator. "

Try logging in to different region - e.g. "Aqua"? If you can't choose your starting location, open preferences, tab "General" and check "Show starting location at login" (something lke that - this could be different in different viewers). Here you enter the name of the region you want to log in to.

If the problem persists, file a ticket.
