How do I transfer L$ from one Avatar to another?

How do I transfer L$ from one of my accounts to my other character?  I want to do away with the one account so I want my good one to have the $$.   Also, how do I delete the account I don't wish to keep?

in their profile, select Pay.  To delete an account, select Delete Account in your online profile from the Second Life website. To learn more about the basic functions in SL, you can use Help in the UI or read the Knowledge base.

Sorry got lost on this.  Do you mean from my account or go to theirs and click pay?   And where to I find PAY?   See I have an old account and I wanted a different and don't want to keep my old one so I want to take the L$ from my old one and give it to my new character.

I am confused as to where you mean for me to go to do this.

O.K. I cannot find in profile anyplace to click to pay nor can I right click my avatar and pay as I read elsewhere.  How am I going to transfer the L$ from one account to the other?   I cannot find a place to "pay".
