How is it possible to put on an AUX 3 layer?

Good day! I searched all the topics on the Internet, but for some reason I couldn't find the answer to my question (or I was looking badly? Please forgive me for that). So please how it is possible to apply an AUX 3 layer to an object? I bought a mod for the tail, but there was no usual texture, but there was a layer, as I understand it. And when I put it on, the color of the tail doesn't change. x-x

Select the object, and set the texture to BAKED_AUX3 from the edit tools window.
