Something that you might try since you have more than one avatar you use on, at least, I simi-regular basis.  Launch your viewer with one of your avatars and clear your cache.  Quit SL and then log in with your other avatar and clear your cache again.  Before you quit SL move that cache to a different location on your computer (such as C:\Users\[username]AppData\Local\[avatar name]\SecondLife).  The example I used is using the typical cache locaton for a Window 7 installation.  Then quit the viewer.  And try logging with both avatars one at a time..........see if that fixes your problem.
