Second Norway - A Blake Sea Community!
 

Second Norway, one of the largest sailing communities in Second Life, is part of Linden Lab's Blake Sea Project, connecting the Mainland to the United Sailing regions, a venue for exciting boat races and a place where all Second Life residents can sail their boats and fly their planes and other devices without barriers, since ban lines have been disabled here. The Blake Sea was the first public - private partnership in Second Life.



The majority of Second Norway contains private residences of many different sizes. Second Norway has a nordic theme (of course). Very few oportunities of commercial land, usually only on request. Be careful with sailing and flying due to the higher amount of residencial areas. Hangars for planes can be rented at both airports. Boat slips are for rent in many different areas.

Over the years, Second Norway has developed several transportation ways: one airport (Airport SNO) covering half a dozen regions, situated right in the middle, and another large airport (Gimsoya International Airport) up in the north.

You will also find an extensive railway and road network here. Take a ride in your car or take the train to one of our many public destinations!
