ideas on how to find a texture

hi there, so My friend who unfortunately is never on anymore had a texture that was like a metal mesh that was a cat walk and it would let you see through to  what was under neath it, im struggling to find something like this on the Mp where any texture i find, isnt actually see through like that, , any ideas what terms i should be using or where i could get such a texture?

What you're looking for is usually called an alpha texture, and if you type "metal alpha texture" in, you'll get some hits. Here's one example:

Do you need it as a texture?  There are several mesh walkway grids like that on the MP. Full perm even.
