I'm not sure what you mean by "number of borders". 

However, there is no limit that I am aware of regarding how much L$ can be paid from one avatar to another.  Depending on the relationship of those accounts and the amount paid, it MIGHT raise LL's eyebrows and they might temporarily lock the accounts to confirm no fraud is going on.   

I have sent tens of thousands of L$ between my own accounts with no problems.
