Teresa Firelight
I dont think anyone has ever done this before .... Mt Campion is an extremely scenic place to take pictures, but the park is huge, spanning 6 mainland regions. It has almost 157,000 square meters of forest land, including scenic trails and pathways, streams, lakes and waterfalls. This makes it hard for people who are not familiar with the park to find some of the nicest places to take pictures. So we are offering a photography tour on Sunday Oct 30, starting at 8:00 AM SLT. We will begin with a short talk about how to take nice pictures. The talk is by WrenNoir Cerise, who is the co-founder of Visionaire School of Photography. She will speak in SL voice only, so if you dont hear SL voice, you may perfer to come at 8:30 when the tour of the park begins. At 8:30 AM SLT, we will hike from the Mount Campion Art Gallery to five scenic locations in the park, giving you 10 to 15 minutes to take a picture there. (If that isn't enough time to get the shot, you can make a LM to come back later or you can stay there and rejoin us when you finish). The picture taking hike is expected to last about 90 minutes. The tour will start at the Mount Campion Art Gallery, with the talk on the upper level. We will leave the gallery area around 8:30 AM SLT to hike to the photography sites.
