Music promo video - looking for suggestions & recommendations

Hi folks,

I'm in a RL band and I have a song that I'd like an SL based video made for. I'm looking for pointers on this as I'm not familiar with the world of machinima. I have a rough storyline and ideas, and would like a moody artistic cinematic film that does not require tight synchronisation with the music.

I have loads of questions, but really I suppose I'm interested to hear from creators who would be interested in taking on this type of work, along with samples and pricing (DM if you need to), as well as hearing the advice and experiences of others who've worked on this type of project or commissioned it, and how to achieve a successful result.

Just a heads up since you are new to machinima.  You need both permission from landowner AND permission from any avatars in your film to use them.  This is is part of SL's photography and machinima policy.
