headda Posted January 11, 2022 Share Posted January 11, 2022 so i work on male model with dev kits and after creating hoodie with hoodie hat attached on i got to this problem.. since as far as i know body dev kits comes with body only and without head, after exporting it i noticed the hat doesnt move when i move my head only the body so my question is how to make the hat works along with the hoodie i created when exporting since head and body comes in different ways ? : https://ibb.co/ykHddsD - here it looks fine : https://ibb.co/7KPJ7Tr - after i tint the head the hat doesnt move with my head Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Quarrel Kukulcan Posted January 12, 2022 Share Posted January 12, 2022 Weight the hood to a head bone. Either mHead or HEAD should work. HEAD is smarter because it will respond to more shape sliders. You'll need software that can handle Fitted Mesh bones, but if you're working with a dev kit you probably have the right kind. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
headda Posted January 12, 2022 Author Share Posted January 12, 2022 thanks for the reply !! i use avastar and it copies the weights to the hoodie but without the head (i checked the vertax group it doesnt has mHead or Head after weighting) do u have a clue maybe how to copy the head bone only because i guess i need to do it sepeartly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Quarrel Kukulcan Posted January 12, 2022 Share Posted January 12, 2022 You're going to have to paint the weights manually then. Most of the hood will have weight 1.0 to HEAD and nothing else.
