Wheenever i'm uploading a certian sculpty map I made for an avatar I'm making, the object seems to be rotating with the camera itself, via regular walking or the usual camera movement controls. I have uploaded a number of sculpties before, and none of them did this. Anyone know what's going on?

your sculpty is inside-out.

quickfix: in the editor, object-tab check the "inside-out" checkmark

fix on image level: flip the red channel of your sculptmap image horizontally.

if you use primstar, there is a video howto fix it in the model:

The manual fix is shown starting from minute 1:00 in the video

Even if it is not inside-out, the use of an alpha surface can produce some of these effects.

I have some "solid" surfaces that look as if they should be opaque, but when I put them on sculpts, they push through themselves.

I have solved the problem so far by exporting the texture, changing file type to jpeg and reloading.

Based on other experiments with alphas and sculpts, I would expect these solids to show at least one conspicuous black pixel or something, but they don't.
