How to do a posed object?

Was in Mesh forums but decided to put this here (I edited the mesh one as 'ignore pls') instead as this is probably the more correct forum!

Anyways...

I have created this orb and have a pose done, but I'm not really sure how to go about it uploading it. I cannot, for some reason, find anything on this!

I want to have the arms and hands posed in a bento hold with a object as if holding an orb I made while the rest of the body moves by whatever AO the person is using.

But I'm not sure how to go about uploading or making it transfer into SL.

Do I rig it and use joint positions or do I upload a pose (which how do I do that specifically?) and add it to the object and use some sort of script?
