  1. OH! The main bulk of the script is in the mesh; holds the list of what each button is supposed to do and turns the list into a string with the parameters of the list’s function. The touch_start gets the link name of the button and sends it to the listener/receiver and that would be about all it does in the HUDs side of things. I am thinking that doing something with the strided function will read it differently. I have been unable to get it to actually work in terms of it being something functional though.
  2. I have a materials texture HUD script that I want to make it... well. Perfect. I figured I'd ask here and see what I can do. It is perfectly usable and fine and all, but the one thing I want to figure out is HOW I can make it do multiple lists per button instead of just one list that comes first per button. So I can use ONE button to apply to multiple faces at once, while keeping how the script works and not just a entire overhaul of it. It was something I've kind of built and butchered on my own with little knowledge as I don't really want to use a 1k+ texture HUD that isn't even full perm, is difficult to understand, and just.... overly complicated tbh. This I found extremely easy for others and myself to use, but... It only listens to one command per linked child prim (or button on the HUD, to put it simply). I can maybe replace it with something else that might make it listen to more than one list per button? This isn't the whole/both (as the HUD has a script as well for obvious reasons) script as I do actually sell this script on MP and would honestly love to update it and send out to people who have purchased it. To be able to do more than one list per linked prim button. So people do not have to put multiple scripts in the mesh for this, making it take up more resources than necessary. But this is the main function of the script, I believe! Thank you to everyone in advance for helping me with this!   3. UPDATE!! I am making updates to the land and redesigning the build a bit. I relocated the space for the shop locations plus the lil OOC area for the rp. I will still have the store rental (6000k a month, for 500LI store space (thinking you can put down a building of your choosing), plus a rp rental, store platform... some other stuff). RP rentals scattered around. Tbh, if you wanna help build up the sim, more than just the store stuff, I am perfectly happy with it Its not open for RP and store stuff yet, but I am open to people exploring around and seeing what the current layout is.   5. Henlo! I am looking for a fantasy rp (or even cyberpunk) store owner, who is looking to expand or have a mainstore! I acquired a homestead recently and not only am I looking to open a minor RP sim, I am also looking to share space with somebody into such. I prefer someone who has experience, fits the fantasy/sci-fi genre, and maybe even RP themselves. The cost per week is 1500L, for 500LI. This is also subject the change! I can increase the prim amount but it depends on the RP rentals LI allotment (so far, I must have 600LI free for rentals + a bit of free room for any creation rezzing... cuz if ya don't have LI to test, then what is the point really of having somewhere, lol?). You'll have free-range to design your store (I can change whatever store layout or design you want as well, tbh). I also have a platform available to test creations and booth designs, that you will have access to. You can do whatever on that platform, as long as it isn't LI heavy (again, homestead, they have a max of 5k LI, plus I want 600LI free space for rentals and all since I do have plans of it being a small rp sim which may grow, depending on things). You can also have a free RP rental of your choice as long as it stays within the prim allotment for that specific rental. I can also plop down a rental of up to 100LI if you want. Which, RP rentals are kindaaaa open? I don't have the homestead on search yet cuz still buildin. BUT! I have the casper and all up, as well as where exactly the rentals will go, for the most part. I just need to decorate the areas outside and around the rentals. I don't have teleports set up for the areas, so it's kinda a landmark hop-around kinda thing (I'll give you all that you need in LMs if interested). The only thing that WILL NOT have a teleport directly to, is the creation/store platform as that is a private area. Heck I might put up a security orb, just to help deter people from poppin in and being like "WHAT U BUILDIN HMMM?" ~~~ If interested or have any questions, or you just wanna look around to see if you like it, please contact me~!   6. I applied and got approved, but only for the meshbody 'free classic' (the meshbody they gave out for free a while ago.) Which... isn't what I was hoping for.. but okay... I would ask directly, but I don't want to be on the list of 'annoying people' to them lmao, and end up just digging a ditch in not getting the actual legacy classic/perky kit. Is there any like.. 'requirements' you guys found or things that had to be done or needed to have in your store in order to get it??? Because they aren't real clear on when or how or any requirements to get the legacy kit (not the 'free classic meshbody' kit), especially when you get your hopes up, seeing you got approved, only to see it isn't actually for legacy classic/perky. Don't get me wrong, I can happily make stuff for that body, but... I don't have that body I don't think? So I kinda can't do much with it in checking weights :/.. I don't particularly want to make something for something I don't have. (It also kinda peeves me that I see creators that start up immediately making legacy items when they previously haven't made mesh seemingly before and then the company gives you, whose been around a while, making mesh, a roundabout for it and.... HNNGGGG, so annoying... >.< anyways)

Firstly, I would like a reference picture, or please be extremely detailed in what you would like. No, I won't do lewd adult meshes/tattoos/poses/etc. Not entirely comfortable with that. I WILL show pictures of it in progress and depending on what it is, I will give a demo. Animations are gifs only. Tattoos will have demo text on it and mesh will have some prim attached to it and will NOT be modify (final is modify!). On the topic of demos, there can be a maximum of two demos. First one is a testing thing, second is the 'final' demo, so to speak. As stated, I will give progress images/gifs. If refunds are needed, 100% is given before the demo, after the 1st demo, 75%, and after the second demo, the commission is considered finalized. Payments are only in Lindens (not doing Paypal rn) and are an up-front thing. Animation to a mesh item is allowed, just add animation to your commission request. And it would only be one animation, 60 seconds max (SL limits), until I can find a dang animation cycle script that will actually work.   9. After testing, I found that I had to animate the SL base/deform bones and /NOT/ the animation bones (not including attachment point). As in REMOVING the animation bones fro the keyframes, but keeping the base and deform bones. Odd, but it'll do as it didn't deform the bones!
  10. For starters, I'm using blender 2.3 and the avastar I have is for 2.8 and above. My issue is this -> https://gyazo.com/ac2a631aa6a27d753ee4d8487bac4871 I used bone translation to animate the attachment bone, and it deforms the fingers. Without bone translation, it's fine but it doesn't animate the attachment bone as far as I'm aware. I know it is general discouraged to do this, but I don't know any other bone to do this sort of animation and way that ISN'T going to deform the body.. at least more so than this method apparently. I tried rigged and unrigged, to which it doesn't matter, as unrigged, it can still be animated like that. So it's the animation itself I'm having problems with in terms of animating the attachment bone and the bone translation option in export. I'm also using anim and not BVH (BVH can't upload this sort). I also prefer it to be kept bento (rigging it somewhere if I have to) than animesh due to attachment limitations. Any help would be appreciated!
  11. I have plans, after demoing the MD Vendors to see how they worked, to switch over to the MD Vendors. I have it set up other than the previous in-world (not MP, though that would be nice as well) customers added to the new system. However, I don't have a clue how to do that! Does any one have experience in switching between these vendor systems (Casper to MD)? Particularly in methods of adding previous customers to the list in MD vendors. EDIT: I have already imported the file from Caspervend to MD, which imports the sales, but apparently not previous customers.

And perhaps he too, has summoned adventurers from dimensions to do his bidding? Some other locations may be planned out, depending on which sim size is chosen. (Perhaps a Mer area?) A region HUD is planned to be implemented for XP, spells, dice, and other things, such as a IC currency. There are options to change your look through IC currency (hair color, eyes, skin, any extra added cosmetic features) and perhaps there will be options such as stats or weapon enhancements that give you a special spell. I wish to give a free-form of character customization like a game, with extra MMO-inspired combat but with dice (as that is a fair form of combat to me). However there are limitations and rules, just like any other sim. Restricted races and rules, of course, but the character's appearance is freely chosen by the player unless changed ICly with the IC currency to do so.   16. As someone said, it is an OBJ, not a collada, as SL's uploader takes only collada. So it may need to be brought into blender or your 3D modeling software and export it as collada. Then if you're still having that issue of dae parsing.. it is likely that there are too many quads/triangles that make it unable to upload.
  17. Gotcha. No demo heads for presentations. 👍 I got the general gist of it that people don’t like that! But I tested the shape on Babyface and I got a relatively the same look with it instead of the strange one. And yeah, I wish the neck seam wasn’t there but it could’t exactly be helped unless I wanted to present it on low settings where the seam wasn’t there. Which isn’t particularly ideal, so windlight it is. Okay. Yeah, I knew soft skins were a thing, especially popular amongst asian-like skin types. But I’ll try to fix the orange around the eyes (it looks better on darker tones I have prepared actually. So I guess I have to play with layer filters) Thank you
  18. I wasn’t exactly seeking praise. It came off as rude as well... it was criticism, yes, but nothing much on how I can improve on it and/or solutions. And yes, I do have a tablet actually, since I thought it would be good to have one for my work! Its even those ‘cintiq’ styled tablets (was only 250). Thank you though, the edit was actually more something useful than simply saying I needed to ‘practice’ and ‘work on it’. EDIT: i found skin brushes for Gimp that help with giving a ‘pores’ ‘freckled’ look.
  19. I suggest Amestate as starting out. It’s small but good and cheap in terms of the ratio between prims and weekly rental costs. It’s what I use for my store actually. I’m not sure how to generate traffic other than trying to get bloggers, pr, manager or something. Could try the Stay at Home Club where creators contribute a free gift to others. If you can afford them, traffic games as well...
  20. This is actually a common problem. How I know how the problem can be fixed by NOT using the sliders button or if there is a button that had something to do about binding to rest pose but that was a Avastar button in Avastar 1 (the nonbento) I’m not familiar with the Avastar for 2.8. I an basing it off of 2.79 Avastar.

  22. I will agree some of them felt quite rude. Thank you for saying that about the learning and that it doesn’t hurt to release stuff; its very encouraging actually and make me inspired even! And that is a thing where I don’t exactly want to HD it up and make it look so fake too. I prefer keeping things mostly ‘unedited’.
  23. May I ask where can I find those? I'm not quite sure how to find those... Nor do I know a whole lot about that. From what it sounds like, it is a 3D model scan but ah... Again, I'm no sure how to find ones... Google Images or actual Blender files or Blender compatible files?
  24. Hello. I recently changed my store to a skins and tattoos store (was Moon.Order but now is Soleil et Lune), starting with normal hooman skins and having fantasy skins as well. I would like to see if anybody here has any tips or tricks in improving my skills! I use Autodesk Sketchbook (highly recommend for UV map painting and such! More tools than GIMP in painting... and it opens large files unlike GIMP where it has given me errors) for drawing/painting the skin. GIMP is used for any color changing, filters, adjustments, etc... I do not have Photoshop. It is quite pricy for me atm. I have attached a photo of my (currently) eyebrowless, latest skin, my fourth one. It is a huge step up from my first skin as this has highlights and blush and such. ALSO! Ignore the neckseam. Genus and Legacy aren't exactly the best combo due to material differences. It looks fine if I turn off advanced lighting, suggesting it is a materials thing. I was also told that most skin creators are using stock photos of real face and blending them with painted pieces. I absolutely despise this notion and I refuse to do that. I prefer to paint every detail of skins I make and NEVER use stock photos and morphs. It's a pride thing. Anyways, thoughts? Improvements? As long as it is constructive criticism and nothing like 'omg ur so bad at this' OH! And windlight is TOR MIDDAY - Rebranded Skies. If thats useful
  25. Uhm. As for the whole stock photo thing and blending and such, I really rather not... I don’t know, I rather have it truly painted and not some overlay of a real face. But thank you. I’ll practice more in terms of making everything painted and not some stock photo morph/overlay.
