Hello everyone, if I set a certain person to not to see me online, under permissions, still or for whatever reason decides to send me an IM, maybe for later viewing, will that person find out that I am logged after sending the message? TYIA.

Yes.

When they send a message to you and you are offline the system responds
"Second Life: User not online - message will be stored and delivered later."

If you are online, even if you have hidden yourself, they don't see this.

There is no true way to hide yourself from other people. Groups will leak your online status, and there are scripts that will also leak your online status. In fact often people do get upset when they see someone is ghosting them.

Hello Viatrix, and sadly anyone can know your online status despite you hide it, with online notifiers.

They can even send mails to the owners when you get online/offline and the exact amount of time you have been logged.
