Nenya Eun
Hi, I have had the fiber installed a few days ago. Everything works fine but Second Life. When I try and connect on SL, I end up getting this message after a few seconds : https://gyazo.com/32b687ea60c2c1049f027fd60176ba25 It's doing it both on my computer and on my partner's. Since I work on SL and must log on, I use my mobile phone as a hotspot and can log normally. (The mobile and the internet providers are the same, but a different contract). I called the internet provider and their answer has been "We can do nothing". My partner tried : - Opening SL ports on router. - DMZ computer on router. - Router firewall turned off. - Computer firewalls turned off. - SL viewer instead of FS. (and even Metabolt). None of this is working. Any help / thoughts would be appreciated before I have to cancel my fiber subscription.
Sharie Criss
What brand and model is your router? I really would suspect that. I found the majority of consumer routers don't handle the thousands of connections SL makes at a very high rate well at all - especially if they are All In One wireless access point routers.
