Screen goes black when opening a new window eg marketplace

Whenever I open a new window in SL such as going into the shop / marketplace or looking at a profile the new window displays for a few seconds and then turns black

Does this only happen with "web windows"?  eg) Marketplace. web profiles, destination guide, choose an avatar window?

If so I suspect slplugin or the CEF plugin is crashing or your antivirus software is blocking slplugin.

Which viewer are you using?  In the top menu bar of the viewer, go to help -> About Second Life / viewer name.
