why can't I control my avitar

I'm having a problm wih graphics It's hard to move my avitare around.

What are the specifics of your graphics card? Some things you can do to help.

First, reset your modem. You could have a bad connection.

Next, go into the graphics tab under preferences. Decrease your draw distance to no more than 120 since you really don't need to see 3 sims over. Decrease your level to mid rather than as high as it goes. You'll lose some detail but you'll be able to move around. Decrease the complexity of avis around you to around 60,000. Next decrease your particle count since you really don't need to see those. You can also go in the advanced menu and uncheck rendering clouds. That should help with the graphics and put less strain.
