hi i am trying to open a marketplace store - but have no marketplace folder in my inventory etc

i cant seem to list items on the market place. I have set up my store and followed the instructions and relogged etc but still no market place folder - ive tried other viewers and they wont let me list either :(. Not sure what i am doing wrong. Has anyone any advice - i am sure its probably something i am overlooking ... thanks in advance :)
