Graphics issues and other things

Hey everyone, I really feel like I shouldn't have an issue whatsoever trying to run secondlife, here are my system specs:

 

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti

AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor 3.5 GHz

8.0 GB RAM

Windows-7 Ultimate 64-bit edition

So not only can I hardly run the game on sims that get graphic entisive, I can't run the 64-bit version of Firestorm, it tries to open then closes shortly after and it's making me upset, anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried a 32bit version?

I would check other versions of popular viewers to see if you have the same issue. 

Also you may consider rolling back your drivers.  drivers over 362.00 have been causing problems for some users(not everyone has issues.)

Make sure you run Checkdsk, Virus scans 

 

Busy sims are going to drag down even the highest end cards....

Do you have Nvidia ShadowPlay enabled?  If so, disable it.

ShadowwPlay will cause frequent viewer crashes just after launch - see BUG-11530

Do you have an Asus system with the Asus ROG Gamefirst software installed?  If so, disable or uninstall Gamefirst - this software is known to crash the viewer on launch and it can also cause an actual system crash when the viewer is launched.

If that doesn't help, file a JIRA issue with Firestorm & include your log files - logs should show why you are crashing.
