How do you include avatars in another background ? I have a project i would like to do something similar : I'd like to include SL avatars in old black and white movies.

Which software do you use ? Do you have any resource to give me please ?

Im still trying to figure a way to sync audio to video. I just stream the background video into sl and project with a screen behind the avatar. Then take a video screen grab. For the Mac, I use snapz pro to capture images.  when you import video into sl its much smoother if you strip out the audio. I use iMovie to edit all the pieces together.

Ah ok, i hadn't thought about this technique, simple but effective. I think the result would still be better with a real "includin", i mean extract the avatars from a SL movie and dive them in a RL movie, but it's probably hard to do. I will look for a solution for that, but first i will try your technique.

In order to remove the avatars without a background you would need to isolate them with a blue screen filming technique. But then you will need a more professional type video editor capable of dealing with blue screen.
