Daughter sent me lindens, received message in chat I received. Have not received after several hours

We are only residents here just like you.  No Lindens come here.

Have your daughter check her transaction history to make sure it is shown there and it went to the right person.  Check your own transcation history to  be sure you didn't get it.  Sometimes the amounts don't show correctly in your viewer, but your transaction record is always correct.

If it indeed shows that your daughter sent it to you and you don't see a record of it in the transaction history, you daughter should call billing and have them track the problem down.
