Hi again Back,

I'm not sure if you're interested in the making of the sound effects themselves, or the use of them in SL, so I'll give you a shotgun answer. Google finds quite a few free sound effects libraries...

If you wish to create them on your own, you'll need a portable recording device and an audio editing tool. I have no recommendations for a recorder, other than to use your phone's audio note taking app if it has such a thing. For editing, I use the free Audacity program...

And finally, you'll need a script to play the clip under the circumstances you desire. Here's the LSL script library, which contains at least a couple example scripts that use sound. Just search for "sound" on that page...
