Londyn8
I posted this in general discussion too but then it occcured to me maybe it is better suited here.Is there still a beta grid or a way to upload and test textures or meshes without paying for it? I googled it and everything I find is about the Aditi grid...which I cannot find. I use Firestorm normally...but have tried both in the regular SL viewer and my usual Firestorm ... but I cannot figure out how to log into this Aditi grid. Can someone please tell me and "up to date"method for either logging into Aditi or being aboe to test textures before paying? Thanks A bunch =)
Bobbie Faulds
In Firestorm, on your opening/splash page Next to the start at you should have a line that says log into grid and then a pulldown menu with a list of grids. Second Life Beta is listed there.
arton Rotaru
In the official viewer go to Me>Preferences>Advanced and check Show Grid Selection at login. And a drop down menu will appear on the login screen. If it's just textures to test, a much better solution is to use local textures on either grid. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Rolig_Loon/Local_Textures

Bobbie Faulds
I actually prefer the beta grid, but then I'm working with clothing and testing appliers for mesh bodies. Temporary texture doesn't always work for all applications. Personal preference, of course.
