When SL voice became available, whaat were the recommendations for certain types of headsets?

SL Voice works, let be rephrase that if I may.... When SL Voice is working, any decent quality headset with a boom mic or a quality stand-alone headphone + a cardioid pattern desktop microphone will do the job nicely.

I prefer a more expensive cardioid pattern desktop microphone since I DJ and I don't want the noise of me typing and/or anyone else in the room polluting my SL Voice and voice announcements via my music stream into SL.

For general voicing, any gamer certified headset will work nicely.

We can't be more specific and recommend a 3rd party product for you but the market is filled with satisfactory solutions for all budgets.
