Casting Calls and Auditions

Hello,

I've recently discovered that there is such a huge community of people already involved with producing films and even theatrical productions in SL.

This is something that has always been an interest for me in SL and RL. With RL limitations, it's such a relief to find this outlet inworld and I'm eager to get plugged in to use my voice and/or avatar to aid tell stories.

Can anyone please mention a few of the blogs/groups that convey announcements casting calls for productions of all genres?

Do film makers generally seek the services of casting agencies? If so, which ones do they normally contact?

What agencies are presently hiring actors?

I don't know of any casting agencies in Second Life at this time.  Some video makers contact me to distribute theiir casting calls.  Here is the notice I send to video makers whenever I hear about a project:

I have recently carried several casting calls in my blog, but I don't know of any explicitly open call at this date.   There was one for Friday, Mar 3:

Hi Thinkerer and Uchenna!

Actually my company, Suzy"s Super Cast & Crew, is a casting service and talent agency based in SL.   We've been operating for about three years now.  We have placed actors in a number of machinima and live events and have always gotten high marks from our clients.  Many SSC&C actors are well known and respected performers in SL as well as in RL.
