How does a person mark all posts read in the answers section?

it would appear that the action link menu is broken, and you can't mark posts here read without viewing every single one

I had seen that, but it looks to be a global setting and if I do that just to clear one section I'll be wiping them all....

all the forums have the same "message options" link menu at the top that allow you to bulk change read status for that section... just seems like they disabled it in answerss... thought mayber there was an alternate control I missed

There is a thing in My Settings > Preferences > General that has the default as "mark as read when I read them", though the options aren`t great.
