Hello!

Yesterday I created a simple pump shoe, but had to scrap it due to SL importer giving me the dreaded dae parsing error.

Today I created another pump shoe, with more even faces and I had no problems with uploading it (except the SL importer wanting to upload everything on my file - feet including when I only selected the shoe - this has never happened before). So I had no problem with how the left shoe looks in game.

Then I wanted to create the right shoe, duplicated it in blender and mirrored it so it would fit the right foot.

When I went to upload the shoe in SL the file was way smaller than the one of the left foot and it wanted to upload the whole pack again  instead of just the shoe. So I had to go back in blender and delete the feet, panel, etc..

Then it would let me upload the shoe, but the inside of the shoe is missing.. ? Even if I clearly see it in blender. I am lost and don't know what else to do.. :/

Shoe as seen in SL uploader: http://imgur.com/a/Dl0l8#c8dXgHq

Both shoes: http://imgur.com/a/Dl0l8#FLYTlyy

The shoes are unrigged, because I still haven't made the rigged version. I got fed up and wanted to upload both shoes at the same time, but I got the error (dae parsing).

Any help is appreciated.

As you haven't mentioned normals ..........

Polygon faces are only one sided,  the Normals of the face indicate from which direction that face will be visible.

There are different ways to mirror a mesh object in Blender and at least one of those will result in the face normals being flipped. Extruding can also result in flipped normals.

A mesh rezzed Inworld with flipped normals can often look as if those faces are missing or the whole mesh can appear to be inside out. Maybe this is what has happened with all or part of your mirrored shoe ?

Enable Backface Culling and then you will see if flipped normals is the problem or not.

In the .gif image below I show how extruding can easily inverse the normals and how to correct this :
