can i change my linden home without any extra cost

hi i have recently got a linden home but would like to change it for a different style would there be any additional costs to do this

You may request a random Linden Home up to 5 times in each 24 hour period. Steps:

1) Stand in the middle of you existing Linden Home.

2) Take back into your inventory all the items you rezzed.

3) Abandon your Linden Home [ World / About Land / Abandon Parcel ]

4) Bounce here on your Dashboard - https://secondlife.com/my/account/membership.php

5) Select a Linden Home Theme area with the type of home you hope to be assigned.

6) Request a home and then go visit it.

7) Repeat until happy

what happens if a person does not take back there inventory and changes homes? i did that totally forgot to take my stuff now its not in my inventory spoke to support they said it should auto return.

To MrsBoricua,

In your case the items remain on that parcel until a LL Maintenance activity returns them to you usually en-mass to your Lost and Found Folder. If it's been a few days since you abandoned your previous Linden Home this may already be waiting for you to deal with.

It will be in the form of one or more coalesced Objects in that folder. [the object icon will look like a pile of cubes stacked up on each other] You will need to visit a Sandbox where you will need to rez them one at a time and then take back each individual item into your Inventory.
