I can't see my typing in nearby chat!!!

Does anyoneknow  why i can't see what i write in nearby chat? It's ok in IMs but when i press Enter button to send something in nearby chat it suddenly disappeares! My friends tell me they see it, it's me i can't see it. I tried with Phoenix viewer andn it's the same there. Awful! Pls tell me what would be the reason....
