help please, win 8 updates done now sound keeps dropping,

a friend done win 8 updates and now sound drops badly, have tried roll backs, clean installs, re installed drivers the works.... Anyone have a clue how to fix? thanks so much in advance you all rox giving peeps support!! ALL FIXED INSTLLED GOOGLE CHROME AND BOW IT WORKS FINE!! JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO CLOSE THIS OFF NOW LOL

Try decreasing the bandwidth in Preferences/Network and Cache.  In no case should it be higher than 1500, and you can decrease it below that to make sure some bandwidth is available for audio.

Also, check out your Windows 8 audio settings, make sure they are all set up correctly, and that your audio devices have the proper drivers for Win 8.
