Hello! Is it possible to go from a Premium membership back to a free one? If so how is it done?

My friend and I had a debate about the possability to unsubscribe a Premium membership. Is it possible, and what are the terms of doing so?

Yes, it is possible at any time. Just make sure you downgrade before your next due date (which is indicated on your dashboard > account summary) and that you abandon any Linden home or mainland you would own and mainland group-owned liabilities. 

Note that all premium membership plans are prepaid. This means that even if you downgrade 3 weeks before your next due date (for instance) you will remain premium until this date. After that, your account will be free and your inventory or L$ balance will not be affected.
