Receiving inventory when in busy mode

I bought an item on xstreet but never received it, so I sent a notecard to the seller. They redelivered it, but I was in busy mode. I read that inventory delivered while in busy mode goes to your trash folder, but it is not there. Can anyone help me?

I think you are going to need to request another redelivery.

I read in a blog reply just this week that inventory transferred directly from another avatar goes into the trash if busy or offline but inventory transfered via a script does not.  Can't confirm that, but it had a ring of truth to it

I think all you can do is ask the seller to send the item again. This time make sure your not in busy mode or in your request to the seller ask if the item can be delivered at an hour you know you will be off-line.
