I've a problem with my "new" graphic card

My old graphic card, which worked fine with sl broke so I had to install a new one...

when I logg in to sl now I see something like modern art... sometimes I get a view for a item for a second or two then again modern art...

I think the problem is the graphic card... I had one at home so I needn't buy a real new one...

the graphic card which is in my pc atm is: ATI Radeon 9600 / X1050 Series

Is there no possibility to solve the problem? Do I need to buy an other one?
