Can't seem to receive rez group

I know this is going to sound strange but I cannot find any documentation as someone has sent me a rez group but cannot find where to receive this. Just asking for a little assistance.

If you rented a place and need a tenant tag to rez your things, contact your landlord. Be patient as the landlord may not be on SL every day or may be out of town on vacation or RL business. If it takes more than a day to get your tag, ask for a rent adjustment so that your rental period starts on the day you get your group tag not the date you paid your first rent, since you weren't able to use the rental until then.  Most honest landlords will do this.

If this is not for a rental, the group may not allow just anyone to join and membership is by invitation only.  If you have asked the owner for a tag and they haven't sent you one, you probably are not eligible to join.
