Jeremy Sandalwood
I use the Notes section of my friends' profiles to save additional information about them. Is it possible to download this information to my client machine? I know it's available on SL webpages, but I would need a bot to navigate to each person and download their information. Any better way. Or do you have such a bot?
Freya Mokusei
This functionality is not present in Second Life - further, all Notes are stored on the account servers, making them very difficult to obtain (they're not stored locally). However:- You may find that your Chat Logs folder (on your PC) or Friends/Contact Cards folders (in your Second Life Inventory) drastically shorten the number of names you need to check programmatically for possible notes. As far as I know very few people would be capable of offering this as a service. I tend to use SQL-based replication and classification is carried through a Kohonen-style network. This way, I don't need the Notes section and havn't needed to draw data from it in some time.
