Some how in game changed my resolution to where everything is now distorted, i was pressing alt or ctrl at the time and a second key on the keyboard but not sure what i pressed

can anyone help me with this. Not sure what keys i pressed, but now the camera is all distorted, i have tried reinstalling, and that hasnt not fixed it.

You probably hit control 8.  Try hiting control 9 then reset view. You should be okay.

Hello Bend, try Ctrl-9 to reset  View > Zoom Default. See also this article in Knowledge Base, How do I look at something from a different angle?

It is possible that your User settings are corrupted. You can reset to default settings, without reinstalling Second Life, by logging out of the Viewer and

.. moving all of your existing settings files to a different, temporary directory.  Next time Second Life starts, it will create a new, default set of settings files. Your settings files can be found in the following location:

* On Windows: C:\Documents and
  Settings\\Application Data\SecondLife\user_settings

* On Mac OSX: /Users//Library/Application Support/SecondLife/user_settings
