Most interesting reading, thank you for the enlightenment. Of course, now that I'm aware of this, you'll be the blame for my next month of lost sleep. ;)

 

Seriously though, the issue raised there is a much more serious issue than that of an unexpected "prim grab", is most definitely a bug and, since it has never been resolved in the six years it was first reported, underscores the advice to never use a state transition within a touch_start() event handler.
