unable to buy L$ (i apologize if this is not the right forum for this)

yesterday i had a problem buying L$ and i figured it had something to do with the marketplace maintenance, so i decided to wait until i see it was solved. however, hours later i tried once again purchasing L$ with the same paypal account i always use. ive never had a problem with it before, but since yesterday, i always get the message "we were unable to make changes to the current invoice". ive tried charging it 2.5$ only, ive even tried adding the card so i wont have to use paypal- i keep getting the same error, and i have no idea why. as i said, ive never had a single issue with my paypal account- until yesterday. i also tried to purchase my L$ via the viewer, but again, nothing happened. i sent an email to the support@payments.secondlife.com, but it failed to send. i have absolutely no idea what to do anymore about this. :( has anyone else experienced this problem before? just two days ago i bought lindens with my paypal account and i had no problems.
