Why are my sweats doing this?

Looks like you are not wearing the alpha mask that must have come with your sweats, assuming they are mesh. Look in your sweats name folder, there should be a little checkered shirt icon. That will be the alpha would should wear. Right click on it in your inventory and choose "add" (not "wear").
