When is the best time to abandon/sell land to avoid paying any more tiers

When is the best time to abandon/sell land to avoid paying any more tiers and still get maximum use from it? just before they are due, or as you pay. I was pretty sure that they were paid in advance. I have been an owner for years but not abandoned as before i did not have the financial difficulties i now have (where every cent counts.

I would say no later than 24 hours before your due date. Just to be sure you don't get in trouble because of time zones. :smileywink:
