Unable to Sign In

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Computer Information:
Gateway NE71B Notebook
Windows 8 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
Processor: AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics GHz

 

I am not computer literate. I've been trying to sign into Second Life but I receive an error message.


Error:

We're having trouble connecting. There may be a problem with your internet connection or the Second Life Grid.You can either check your internet connection and try again in a few minutes, click help to view the Second Life Support Portal, or click teleport to attempt to teleport home.

My internet connection is fine I can go on any website. I have restarted my router just in case. Please help me fix this problem

(Just so you know If you give me advice on what to do can you please include the steps with the advice.)

Are these your specs?

AMD E-1-1200, 1.40GHz, 4GB, 500GB, 8x SuperMulti DVD Burner, Wireless, Webcam, AMD Radeion HD 7310 Graphics

Yes, we know. If you were you wouldn't have wasted your money on crap like that, sorry to say. :smileysad:

The proci is very slow and the graphics chip is of the lowest standard and hardly able to run any games at all. It's not a dedicated card and takes its memory from your system RAM. Not the best conditions to run a powerhungry application like SL. No wonder the bouncers won't let you in.
