Anya,

You mentioned Land Textures & Parcel in the same question so I'm taking an educated guess you own a parcel on a Region somewhere in SecondLife.

Basically, you may perform terraforming activities on the parcel you have leased if ownership has been transferred to you. This allows you to make terrain height adjustments and land sculpturing changes Hills, bluffs, lakes, etc.[] within the limits established for the Region you are leasing the parcel on. You'll find that these limits are usually 20m up or down on parcels leased from Linden Research on their mainland properties. Private Estate owners may specify more or less restrictive limits on the regions they own on a region by region basis.

The land texture is only modifiable by the region owner. There are 4 possible textures that may be applied tot he land texture feature which are governed by the height of the land as to when one texture blends into and takes over being displayed on the land. As a parcel owner all you can do to affect the established land textures for the region are governed by the settings the region owner has made.

You can however, purchase a prim based land texture to lay on top of your parcel land surface to give you a wonderful effect. These run the gambit from a simple flat texture with a detailed lawn or leaf texture on the top surface to detailed sculpties to detailed mesh treatments.

You'll find these readily available for sale in the Market Place.

If you own a region then you have access to the 4 base land textures and the height/exposure settings.
