Yellow triangles appear when rezzing an object

I'm puzzled by yellow triangles appearing instead of the object I'm trying to rez. The object is there, but I just can't see it no matter how many times I right click. The triangles fade after a few seconds, but today they were all in front of my house. Does anyone know what causes this and how I can fix it?

It sounds like the yellow triangles might be the "unrezzed mesh symbols" It could happen becausee the sim you are in is acting up or your connection/bandwidth are not fast enough, or your computer is not up to SL standards. 

What viewer are you using, how much RAM do you have on your computer and how much dedicated memory does your videocard have?
