Looking for a home

Just looking for a place for me and my boyfriend to rent.

Nothing too extravagant, or too simple, he wants a crazy house but I'd like a cozy little apartment, and since we're both very new to Second Life we're not sure how real estate actually works.

I'm not sure if we should try to find some place to rent or rent land and paste a pre-built house...

I've browsed the marketplace almost nonstop the past couple nights, but I can't make sense of most of it, so now I'm just going to ask for help, any suggestions?
