Shouldn't blocking someone prevent them from sending inventory?

I blocked someone who was sending me abusive IMs and getting her friends to do the same, but now I see I have several notecards from her, all with the same abusive message. How can I prevent this person from sending me hate mail via notecards? I thought I took care of that by blocking her. Thanks.

It should block them from sending inventory, yes. Check your preferences to see that you're not automatically accepting notecards, etc.

Follow Griffin's advide.  If you accept something from someone you have muted/blocked, even automatically, they are unmuted/blocked automatically.  You may need to mute/block them again too.
