Hard to explain - I want to access the objects inside a prim dropped on another prim.

Imagine a slide show. You have a "projector object", then you have a "cartridge object" containing all the pictures. I want to drop the "cartridge object" with the pictures on the "projector" and have the slide show play. Make sense?

You can't do it, if you put the cadrige inside the projector's inventory. As long s both objects are rezzed in the same region, you can however use llGiveInventoryList (http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlGiveInventoryList) to treansfer the textures in the cardrige to the projector.
