Hiring a Marketing Assistant

Solace Beach Estates is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team.

The Marketing Assistant's role is to generate sales and promote Solace Beach business interests via advertising and marketing initiatives. This is an entry level position but will have opportunities for advancement based on performance and the success of the estate. The currently available position requires ~ 1-2 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities:

* Writing and posting messages 5 times/week to inworld groups and forums, advertising Solace Beach locations or stores operating on our estate.

* Researching other advertising methods such as ad boards, magazines, etc. and arranging placement as appropriate.

* Creating images for advertising purposes

* Developing new marketing campaigns and sales ideas, coordinating with estate owner and events manager.

Job Requirements:

* Experience in SL marketing, sales, and/or Estate Management

* Great people skills

* Responsible, reliable, and drama-free

* Reasonably professional profile with no extreme content or groups visible

* Photoshop skills - ability to create ads, posters, etc.

* Can use Skype and voice, we use Skype for training and meetings.

* Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following communities is a plus: Live music, art, theatre/dance, clubs, gay/LGBT, merchants/creators, fashion, blogging.

Pay:

* Pay is 2000L$/week or 3000L$/week land credit.
